平滑肌肌球蛋白重鏈是平滑肌細胞漿內的結構蛋白，與平滑肌收縮功能相關。在平滑肌早期發(fā)育階段即有表達，常用于間葉腫瘤的診斷和分類。也可用于乳腺肌上皮細胞的檢測，有助于鑒別乳腺原位癌與浸潤癌。
